      <image:caption>“Another day on social media and, oh look, everybody in the world just made an amazing transformation… Except for me.” With one quick scroll of your feed, you might get the impression everyone out there is getting effortless, amazing results. Unfortunately, this is far from the case. The Health and Fitness Industry has been struggling lately. It hasn’t been able to achieve lasting results for our most prevalent demographic: Busy, everyday people with jobs, children, caretaking duties, and an overfull plate. And, this makes sense because the vast majority of trainers, coaches, apps, and programs out there only address one or two of the three things all health goals require. The Status Quo Must Change Here are some numbers we’ve observed working with clients, trainers, dietitians, and physicians around the country: 25% of people can see results just working on fitness 50% of people can see results working on both fitness and food … if you’re the remaining 50-75% of people, you’re historically out of luck. This is unacceptable. Our approach benefits everyone while focusing on those stuck in the gap. We begin by recognizing that all health goals require fitness, food, AND capacity. We'll start with that last one. Capacity (time + energy) The issue at the root of all this is simple: If you don’t have enough time… If you don’t have enough energy… You can’t take consistent action. Without action… Your mind won’t change. Your body won’t change. Your health won’t change. We are what we do often, and if we can’t do the work, we remain the same. Without capacity, we can’t sustain a training or food plan (no matter how good it is). Most approaches out there do nothing to address this issue even though it is the thing stopping people from getting results. Through our proven curriculum and coaching strategies, we’ve made capacity-building a pillar of everything we do. With more time and energy, you’ll be amazed at what fitness and food can really do for you. Food Food is messy, emotional, and primal. We've been eating since the womb and inherited a relationship with food passed down for generations. As such, any changes in what, how, or why we eat are often more involved and nuanced than we believe. Like Matryoshka nesting dolls, a single change has multiple potential pitfalls and considerations.
